Protein rich and digestible hay shavings
New in our single feed assortment are hay shreds from green oats and sainfoin. Both products are popular with horses as well as small animals and are now available in practical 15 kg bales.
Our sainfoin has been harvested from German meadows and gently dried. The sainfoin is particularly low in sugar and fructan and, in combination with its high protein content, is ideally suited for animals that tend to have impaired digestion of the large intestine and tend to have more problems with weight loss or the maintenance of body substance.
Our green oats come from southern German meadows and are harvested shortly after flowering and gently dried. Due to the early cutting time, no starch-rich grains have yet been stored in the oat plant, which is why our oat grass has a very low starch content. In combination with low sugar and fructan content, green oats are therefore ideally suited for animals that need to be fed a diet rich in crude fiber but low in sugar.
