At the end of April 2021, our new initiative for young dressage riders will start - the Eggersmann Youngster Dressage Cup!
For years we have been passionately committed to promoting young riding talent in show jumping. This year, for the first time, the focus is on young dressage talents!
In Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, our new Eggersmann Youngster Dressage Cup series will start at dressage rider M level with five scheduled qualifiers and one final. Juniors and young riders, up to 21 years of age, from the regional associations of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein with performance classes 2-4 on at least 6 year old horses and ponies may participate in the series.
With the Eggersmann Youngster Dressage Cup, we want to offer young dressage riders an exclusive series of competitions at attractive venues and the opportunity to jump into the big arena.

Juniors, Young Riders, LK 2-4, only regular members of PSV Hamburg and PSH Schleswig-Holstein
LK2 only on DS and higher unplaced horses
Horses and ponies 6 years + older

Participation in one of the qualification tournaments
The 15 riders with the most points from the qualification tournaments will be admitted to the finals.

Regulations:
A total of five qualifiers and one final are planned. In the qualification tests the task RM1 (curb) will be ridden. The final will be a M* on a large arena.
The series is open to juniors and young riders from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, with LK 2-4 (LK2 only on S and higher unplaced horses), on 6-year-old and older horses and ponies.
The scoring system awards points to the 15 best pairs in each qualifying competition: the winner 15 points, the runner-up 14 points and so on. In case of double placings, all riders receive the points for that place. In the event of a division of the competition, the divisions will be combined into one score. After completion of the last qualification test, the 15 riders with the most points will be admitted to the final. The three best qualification results per pair will be scored for the final participation.
The riders who have qualified for the final will receive a written invitation and will be published here. Each finalist is only allowed to start with one horse/pony. In case of cancellation of the horse/pony due to illness, a substitute horse/pony may be ridden. If a participant qualified for the final cancels, a substitute may be ridden. The final result alone decides the victory of the series. All participants in the finals will receive ribbons and prizes.
