Feed supplement for horses with skin problems
Derma Vital Cubes is a special feed for horses with skin problems.
Situations caused by dietary deficiency often reflect in skin and coat problems. "My horse has a dull coat, the skin is flaky, moulting is difficult, or my horse is prone to eczema," are statements from horse owners, whose horses may suffer from a lack of vital nutrients. But also with other skin and coat problems, targeted supplementation with nutrients (such as zinc, selenium, essential amino acids, and vitamin B) can support a faster skin regeneration. An imbalance in minerals, vitamins and trace elements can also lead to skin and coat problems. Here, for example, an unfavourable calcium/phosphorus ratio, excessive calcium as well as phosphorus levels can all reduce the utilisation of important trace elements such as zinc, and thus trigger skin problems. Especially, horses of Nordic breeds, such as Icelandics, Tinkers and Friesians etc., react with skin changes to excessive amounts of carbohydrates, or specifically to oats, oat bran, or other processed products derived from oats. Our Derma Vital Cubes therefore deliberately omit any oats or oat-derived ingredients. Specifically designed to support the protective function of the skin, Derma Vital Cubes are enriched with zinc in the form of organically bound zinc chelate, as well as copper, biotin and selenium. The feed is optimally balanced for horses with special needs such as allergies and sensitivities, providing high-quality nutrients targeted to prevent diet-related deficiencies. In addition, a special blend of herbs has been incorporated in the formula to support the treatment of skin and coat problems (dull coat, dry skin, dandruff, itching or poorly healing skin). These herbs stimulate and regulate the skin and coat metabolism. As skin diseases can often be associated with digestive problems, the formulation of Derma Vital Cubes is designed not only to promote a healthy skin but actively support the intestinal health. Due to the higher content of crude fibre, and especially with the use of fruit pulp, digestive processes are optimised and problems prevented. The combined nutrients and vital substances in Derma Vital Cubes have an overall positive effect on the immune system and promote the metabolic processes.
