Fütterungsempfehlung:
für Pferde:
- Aufgrund der leicht verfügbaren Energiedichte in Verbindung mit dem hohen Gehalt an Lysin und wertvollen Fettsäuren wird Hafer gerne an Sport- und Zuchtpferde gefüttert.
- Er enthält wenig Calcium aber viel Phosphor, bei klassischen Heu-Hafer-Rationen ist daher die Korrektur durch ein ausgewogenes Mineralfutter notwendig.
für Hühner und andere Geflügelrassen:
- Da sich ein gewisser Rohfaseranteil im Futter positiv auf die Bakterienflora im Darmtrakt des Geflügels auswirkt, bietet Hafer mit seinem hohen Spelzanteil eine sinnvolle Ergänzung um Imbalancen der Darmflora, die sich u.a. durch Federpicken äußern können, auszugleichen.
- Um negative Effekte auf die Eiweißverwertung im Körper bei überhöhten Rohfasergehalten in der Fütterung zu vermeiden, sollte die Haferfütterung aber begrenzt werden.
- Für Junghennen und Hühnerküken empfehlen wir eine Einmischrate von ca. 10% ins Alleinfutter, für Legehennen und Elterntiere kann bis zu 20% eingemischt werden.
für Kleintiere:
- Wie bei allen Getreidearten ist auch beim Hafer grundsätzlich Vorsicht geboten, um Kaninchen und Nager artgerecht zu ernähren. In besonderen Situationen kann es aber sinnvoll sein, die Fütterung energetisch aufzuwerten.
- Unser Walzhafer kann z.B. über die Wintermonate, bei Abmagerung bspw. nach einer Erkrankung oder auch für trächtige Tiere als energiereiche Futterergänzung angeboten werden. Gewichtsverlust sollte unbedingt durch den behandelnden Tierarzt abgeklärt werden
- Um die Beschäftigung der Tiere zu fördern, empfehlen wir 0,5-1 Teelöffel unter die frische Einstreu oder im Heu zu verteilen.
