Feed supplement for horses and poniesA top-quality special feed, low in starches and sugars, and without cereals. Should the vet diagnose diseases such as laminitis, azoturia, Cushing's or Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, a special diet is needed. A cause of these and similar diseases are metabolic blockages in varying degrees. Very often, this can be traced back to excessive quantities of carbohydrates in the diet from cereals such as oats, barley, maize or spelt, and to obesity, which is in affected horses often linked to such a diet. Also with horses on grass livery, carbohydrates are often to blame for such diseases. Contrary to popular belief, that too much protein is the cause of laminitis, the carbohydrate related fructose is the main trigger. For the prevention and rehabilitation of these mentioned diseases, or to treat consequential problems, experts recommend, alongside sufficient daily exercise, a special feeding regime with the lowest possible levels of starch and sugar.

Fütterungsempfehlung:

Pferde und Ponys erhalten bei leichter Arbeit ca. 200 g pro 100 kg Körpergewicht pro Tag zu ausreichend gutem, vorzugsweise überständig geerntetem Heu.

Bei Pferden, die nach der Rehabilitationsphase wieder uneingeschränkt gearbeitet werden dürfen, kann zur ausreichenden Energieversorgung eine Fütterung bis zu 300 g pro 100 kg Körpergewicht pro Tag nötig werden. Diese Rationsangleichung sollte jedoch nur vorgenommen werden, wenn das Pferd keine deutlich sichtbaren Körperfettreserven mehr hat.

Bei geringeren Fütterungsmengen wird die Zugabe eines hochwertigen Mineralfutters empfohlen.
Bei Pferden mit Zahnproblemen, hastig fressenden oder alten Pferden sollte pelletiertes Futter grundsätzlich eingeweicht werden.

Ich habe lange nach einem stärke- und zuckerreduzierten Futter für mein sehr wählerisch Pony gesucht. Von Revital Cubes ist sie sehr begeistert und frisst sofort alles auf. Ich bin echt erleichtert und mein Pony zufrieden.

Immer wieder unser Futter der Wahl für unsere an Rehe erkrankte Stute. Die Revital Cubes haben sie sehr in der Heilungsphase unterstützt. Sodass die Rehe jetzt komplett ausgeheilt ist, dennoch füttern wir es weiter. Alle Pferde, die wir haben, fressen die Pellets gerne.

Ich füttere es meiner Warmblutstute (leichtes Ekzem) mit einem guten Schuss Wasser. Es scheint ihr zu schmecken - sie blubbert mich gerne freudig beim Futterholen an. Super auch mit einem Sud aus Kräutern /Tee einzuweichen.
