The merits of milk thistle oil have been well known for a long time by people who take care of their diet.

In equine nutrition, vegetable oils are used mainly as a source of energy, to eliminate dust, to promote a glossy coat, or for therapeutic reasons. Contained in the thistle seeds is an oil which has the highest level of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids of all oil-producing plants. Those draw less oxygen from the blood than saturated fatty acids and fill the empty glycogen deposits better than any other source of energy. As a very mobile and easily available source of energy, they promote growth and fertility and strengthen the immune system. The levels of vitamins, pre-vitamins and minerals make Milk Thistle Oil a valuable and natural supply of vital biological agents.
