Our Eggersmann volaris TERRACEgrain Mix is suitable for feeding all year round! If you offer the feed in bird houses or feeders, clean them regularly with hot water. This way you minimise the transmission and spread of pathogens. Make sure that the feed cannot get soaked even in strong winds, snow and rain, otherwise it will spoil or freeze over and the birds will no longer eat it.
Did you know that robins, yellowhammers, dunnocks and blackbirds are so-called ground feeders? Are ground feeders? They don't like to go to the feeder, but like to pick up the grains from the ground. If you have space in your garden, provide a ground feeder. Simply fill a wooden or plastic bowl with food and place it on the ground.
When you offer food, please also think about water for the birds. Especially in winter, when natural water sources such as puddles or water in gutters are frozen, birds also need an extra bowl of water. However, there is no need for an expensive bird bath at the bird feeder; a flower pot saucer or an old soup plate is perfect as a watering place. The water should be changed regularly.

Ratzfatz alle
Da ich innerhalb kurzer Zeit das Futter nachfüllen muss,scheint es genau das richtige zu sein. Für alle Vögel ist etwas dabei,groß oder klein. Da bezahle ich gern etwas mehr aber werfe nix weg wie das bei anderem Futter oft war.
