Our Eggersmann E-VET+ Zinc Complex is therefore based on a combination of the trace elements zinc, copper and selenium. Highly available zinc, as an important nutrient for the immune system, is necessary for the skin and tendon structures in the body. Copper is essential for connective tissue formation, selenium protects cell membranes and is crucial for a strong immune system. DL-methionine, biotin, lecithin and diatomaceous earth round off the formula of our E-VET+ Zinc Complex. They support the active metabolism and are essential for an intact skin and resilient hooves. To increase the zinc supply, mix 5 g E-VET+ Zinc Complex per 100 kg body weight into the feed daily. In special situations of need, the dosage may be increased, but due to the higher content of trace elements compared to complete feeds, a maximum of 10 g E-VET+ Zinc Complex per 100 kg body weight should be fed per day.
